After a warm, delightful week in The garden of England, we arrived home last Friday. It feels good being back in town, but how I miss the English countryside. Imagine laying in bed with the curtains wide open, with a view of a castle and the rolling hills. Magical
It was a good holiday. We visited country houses, gardens and colourful seaside towns. I roamed lots and lots of charity shops and junk stores and found many treasures. Hurray! Although I have a small car in which the girls and I (and our luggage) just fit, I managed to leave a bit of room for my vintage finds. I have to add that when a girl wants to take something home with her.......there is always an empty space to be found ;-)
Hastings is super. Especially the old town stole my heart, with it's brightly coloured houses, it's many antique and junk stores and it's 'happy' feel. I found some porcelain (show you later or have a look at my Instagram) and three beautiful 19th century French fashion prints, which will look perfect on my pink and white striped bedroom wall. Have to find some old frames first though....
Over the weeks I will show you some photo's now and then. Hope you don't mind?!
When you still have to go on holiday: have a great time! For those of you staying at home to hold the fort: have fun too!
Happy week!
Love,
