Blauw serviesgoed

I have a weakness for china. At flea markets china is one of the first things I look for. For the garden I always search for brocante plates and cups with little flowers on it, mostly in white and pastel colours (a lot of roses). At home it is all about blue! I don't mind at all where the china is from. To me the most important thing is that the design and motives appeal to me. So, I just as easily combine twenties 'grey dawn' china from Johnson Brothers with new blue and white porcelain from Russia, Moroccan scales and Chinese bowls. Each time I get my friends around for dinner, from one of my cooking clubs, I try to lay the table differently. It gives me so much pleasure! I also enjoy it when others make a lot of work of their table!

  1. What a pleasure to see your beautiful pictures. I have a passion for porcelain with roses and in pastel colours too. My favourite thing is your bluewhite jug - it is really adorable. My favourite thing of my own is a bluewhite sarreguemines porcelain from france which is 100 years old.

Thanks for sharing these beautiful things.

    best greetings from germany,
