The day that Sinterklaas left, my youngest daughter and I fetched the boxes with Christmas ornaments from the loft. Over the years my collection has grown steadily. Name a colour, we have it :-). I thought about bringing part of it to the thrift store, but somehow I can't make myself do it. What if I want a purple three next year, or a fuchsia pink one?
This year we chose for a white, mint green, baby pink and silver tree. Most ornaments are vintage ones, but there are one or two new ones in between. I wanted to show you how our tree looks like, but you will have to wait until next week. The light was so poor today, that taking photo's proved difficult. Sorry!
Meanwhile the girls and I are camping in our living room. Around us boxes with kitchenware are piled up high. It's luxurious camping thought. I fetched the refrigerator from the allotment complex and we have a microwave.
Our old kitchen is gone and the walls have to dry before a new kitchen can be placed. It's not as bad as we thought it would be. Have to tell you though that so far we ate with family and friends. We were served the most delicious dishes. I think I may call the kitchen centre to ask if they can postpone our new kitchen for a while.... :-) We are getting quite used to it!
If you haven't decorated you tree yet, have fun!
A Happy week!
