Hello! Thank you for your enthusiastic comments to last weeks post. I will let you know as soon as there is news on the workshop front.
Last week was one of those weeks when my 'to do' list was full, but I only got half of the things done. There was no time left for spontaneous actions. The thing is....I have myself to blame. Can't say 'no' to sweet invitations. I also have a tendency to be enthusiastic about lots of things :-). Does this sound familiar to you? I managed to keep a few empty spaces in my diary next week. Hurray! With a bit of luck, I will be able to do some work in the garden. How I love to go there.
I started on a four day photography course last Thursday. It made me realize how much there still is to learn. Since then I can't think clearly any more. My head is filled with technical details. Today is my last day. We will go to one of Rotterdam's harbour areas, to take photographs. It's one of my favourite places in town. It's where the new blends in with the old, where 19th century warehouses stand side by side with majestic sky scrapers. Oh and the river..., our Erasmusbrug. It's impressive, summer or winter! The perfect setting for a photography course. Hopefully I will be able to combine the technical details with the way I look at things. Ha, ha :-)
Today's photo's were taken two weeks ago. I found some lovely vintage items at the Saturday flea market: a dolls dress, fabric, colourful tins, a 1930s pink glass decanter set and a two cheerful tea cups. I am not sure where I will use the fabric for, but I think it will make a beautiful tablecloth for in my garden. One of the last things I always do when visiting the market, is buying flowers to take home with me. It won't be long before I can pick them from my own garden!
Have you been vintiguing lately?
Wishing you a lovely Sunday and a Happy week ahead!
