Lots of things are happening in my life at the moment. I have a cheerful disposition, but now and then dark clouds gather around me. I try to blow them away, but there are days when my energy level drops, and I need to give it a boost. Baking, picking up my crochet needle or reading a book often helps, but to me the best way to gain strength is to work in the garden.
When I open up the gate, walk through the shade, the huge pine tree casts over part of the garden, I enter a magical world, where purples and pinks tumble over each other, there is beauty all around me and nothing much is happening.
The posie you can see on the photo's was made of Jacob's ladder, geranium phaeum, phlox Clouds of perfume and sweet woodruff. The purple flowers of the Jacob's ladder and geranium phaeum really stand out against the dark leaves of the euphorbia. Such a pretty combination! The sweet woodruff lightens it up a little.
Hope you are enjoying your garden too.
Have a lovely day!
