This post is to say thank you for your friendship, your enthusiasm & your kind comments! It's always a joy to open up my blog and see what you wrote! I would like to give one of you a book I recently found and like very much. It's called Creative Walls by Geraldine James. It shows how to display and enjoy treasured collections. From plates, books amd prints to bizarre decorative objects, like stuffed birds and skulls. The last ones are not really to my liking, but maybe they appeal to you! The book has beautiful photographs and imaginative ideas for making a wall look pretty.
The only thing you have to do is to leave a comment on this post. I would appreciate it if you would link my giveaway to your blog, but don't feel obliged. Everyone can participate, old and new followers. I will send all over the world. On the 27th of December one of my daughters will pick the winning number. I have just done the same as you - put some shinny decorations in a glass compote dish, it is such an effective way of bringing a bit of Christmas seasonal cheer to the home.
ReplyDeleteLieve Madelief, wat is je laatste foto mooi, met de kaarsen op de voorgrond en de kerstboom zo mooi wazig op de achtergrond. Aangezien mijn wanden egaal van kleur zijn en er weinig hangt, denk ik dat het boek hier niet tot zijn recht komt ;)! Maar een link plaats ik wel hoor, als ik weer achter mijn pc zit, vanaf mijn iPad gaat dat niet zo makkelijk.

Your decorations are so beautiful, you inspire me to try something a little different here this year. Although I am a pensioner now, and do not decorate as much as when my children were small, we are never too old to learn new ideas or to be made happy by beauty around us! And this year, I have the wonderful gift of a beautiful new granddaughter Emily now aged three months, so I shall want to make all things lovely for her to enjoy!
