You have 2,005 followers!!...Oh, goodness, Madelief! You have 2,005 followers!!!! =D And I can understand why!! =) xo

What a refreshing post! Gardens!!! =D I could listen to you talk about gardens all day, really! =) (We would just need a tea break in there somewhere! ;) ) Alas, I've been having to tone down my garden aspirations for this year - I mean, I won't be planting that twenty acres of flowers ;) - just slightly expanding, tending to and filling in what I have! ;)

I've had similar thoughts to yours, here, about that shady patch on the bank. It's kind of a woodsy and, at first, I envisioned lots of white but, somehow... I'm winding up with lots of pink! =/ That's not what I meant to do but it's still pretty! The biggest thing is that I very much want some lily of the valley around the roots of the trees but am having a hard time finding any. So, it looks to me that you've found treasure in those pots! I, also, have hosta, campanula and Solomon's seal, whose flowers, this spring were a surprise to me. Anyway, the only big, big difference is that it's not wet under the trees but almost always dry as a bone. I think it will help once the plants have taken over, though. Everything I've planted up there is something that likes to 'go wild'. It's where I plan on shaking the forget-me-not seeds which I have never ever personally grown before!! =( (Every single year I buy seeds!!! =/ THIS YEAR I will do it!!!) Anyway, you've given me lots of good ideas of what else to, at least, try. The gallium odoratum.... I've heard of 'sweet woodruff' before but don't really know it. Perhaps.... perhaps... I can get it to grow on the bank - it would be perfectly lovely!!

Happy weekend and gardening to you!! =) xxooKaty Noellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08972227249393814417noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-907830779862347023.post-26423230540484005032013-06-01T13:19:08.379+02:002013-06-01T13:19:08.379+02:00You are an artist ....in photographing and also in...You are an artist ....in photographing and also in discribing .......
together the pictures and the beautiful words are a true gift for the heart .
You not only show and tell the result , also the process and all together
it's very inspiring .
